Secondary school teachers give students the opportunity to get a detailed education on subjects they just lightly brushed over in younger years. A bachelor's degree is a must for the field, especially with keen competition. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) suggests that the field will grow about as fast as the average by through 2014.
